Was kosten Taxis in Tunesien? In der Stadt wenige Dinar per Taxameter (ca. 1 TND/km, Nachtzuschlag). Für Flughäfen und Überlandfahrten vermeiden Festpreis-Transfers ab 40 TND jede Verhandlung.
Taxi pricing in Tunisia works on two systems. Inside cities, yellow taxis use a meter: pickup charge under a dinar, then roughly 1 TND per kilometre, with a night supplement of around 50% (typically 9 PM to 5 AM) — a cross-town ride in Tunis or Sousse usually costs 3-10 TND. For airports, resorts and intercity distances, meters give way to negotiation, and that is where prices become unpredictable: quoted airport fares vary wildly by hour, luggage and language. Fixed-price private transfers remove that entirely — published examples: Tunis-Carthage to the city centre 45 TND, to Hammamet 120 TND; Enfidha to Hammamet 80 TND; Monastir to Sousse 60 TND; Djerba airport to the Midoun hotel zone 65 TND. Budget alternatives exist (louages — shared intercity minibuses — and SNTRI buses cost a few dinars) but run on their own schedules and stations, impractical with luggage or late flights.
Short daytime hops in town cost 3-10 TND on the meter — use yellow taxis freely for city sightseeing.
Meters rarely apply on tourist runs. A published fixed fare (45 TND TUN-centre, 120 TND TUN-Hammamet) ends the negotiation.
Metered taxis add roughly half at night; our fixed transfer fares are identical 24/7.
Shared minibuses (louages) link cities for a few dinars — fine for light packers with flexible time, not for flight schedules.
